What role does Mars, the fanged and bloody warrior planet, play in the birth charts of the fair sex? Do women have a different astrological relationship with Mars than men do? An overwhelming majority of astrology’s devotees and astrologers’ clients are women. How can astrology help them understand and befriend their inner warriors?

Armed with detailed questionnaire responses from almost 200 women, author April Elliott Kent has embarked on a new project that will lead straight into the heart of Mars. In this presentation she’ll share some of her initial discoveries, including:

•    how Mars can help women embrace competition and better deal with conflict
•    why Mars is the key to unleashing energy and creativity
•    what a woman’s Mars sign says about the men in her life (See, guys? Told ya.)

April Elliott Kent (Mars in Virgo in the 10th house) has been a professional astrologer since 1990. She is the author of “The Essential Guide to Practical Astrology” (Alpha/Penguin 2011) and “Star Guide to Weddings” (Llewellyn 2008), and her astrological writing has appeared in The Mountain Astrologer, Dell Horoscope, and Llewellyn’s Moon Sign and Sun Sign books.
