My role as an astrologer is to interpret your heavenly map to see what's happening now, what may happen next, and how you can alchemically influence or cooperate with the planetary indicators.
My consultations are a unique mix of the spiritual and the practical, honed over 20 years of practicing the astrological art. Recognizing how your day-to-day expression is connected to something greater helps you gain a greater sense of peace and purpose. The consultation is done in person here in San Diego, over the phone or via a tape that I make and send to you. It's generally 60 or 90 minutes long, though shorter emailed sessions are available. You bring your questions and I provide illumination by examining your natal chart (the map of the heavens on the day you were born). I won't tell you exactly what to do, but will help you identify "windows of opportunity" in the realms of career, relationship, money, travel, relocation, spirituality and health.

In today's economy, affording the luxury of a reading can be tricky. But we still have things we want to know -- like what's the year ahead looking like for me or when will my luck change or when should I ask for a raise or is there romance (or a job) in my immediate future. There is one more thing I offer you: Keepsake photos. My Birthsky photo and Sun-Moon-Ascendant Baby report. The perfect gift for a new parent or grandparent that wants to the celebrate the birth of their new family member. I create a birth chart on a background of NASA images of the planets, and then add a photo of the baby (of any age!) and a personalized message with the birth information. Jim Shawvan offers consultations in the areas of electional, horary, karmic, natal, predictive, relationship, relocation, and travel astrology. Kevin Burk has been practicing astrology in the San Diego area since 1993. Pam Ciampi is a full-time certified astrologer who has read horoscopes for people all over the world since 1975. Pam has been a student of metaphysics for most of her life. She began her astrology studies with a correspondence course from the Mayo School of Astrology in England.
